ARANLAND: Interviewing Marta from Dear Diary (:

Buenos días chicas. La semana pasada se me ocurrió hacer una nueva sección en mi blog. Se trata de enseñaos cada mes una entrevista de bloggers que todavía no sean muy conocidas o que simplemente, me guste su blog. En este caso, me hacía mucha ilusión empezar esta sección con una de mis bloggers favoritas y también amiga bloggeril: Marta de Dear Diary. Estoy segura de que muchas ya la conocéis, lo cual no quiere decir que no os vayan a interesar sus respuestas! Además, adjunto algunos de mis looks favoritos de todas las estaciones del año. Good morning you guys. Last week I was thinking about doing a new section on my blog. I'm going to show you interviews from bloggers who are not on the top and need a helping hand to grow up or from bloggers I just love their blogs. In this case, I wanted so bad to start this section interviewing one of my favourite bloggers and also, a friend of mine: Marta from Dear Diary. I'm sure most of you already know her which doesn't mean you are not interested on her answers! Moreover, I've just added some of my favourite looks from every year's season. I hope you enjoy the interview and thank you for being there (:

1- ¿Por qué te hiciste un blog? / Why did you create a blog?

Un buen día navegando por internet descubri un blog de una chica en el que sacaba sus outfits. Yo no sabia ni porque lo hacia ni nada, pero empecé a investigar y conocí otros blogs. Me pase un año entero mirando mil blogs al día, hasta que pensé que por que no me creaba yo mi propio blog para asi poder inspirar a algunas personas que les gustara mi estilo.

One random day surfing on the net I discovered a blog in which a girl showed her outfits. I didn't know why she did that but I started to investigate and I got to know other blogs. I spent a whole year visiting a lot of blogs every day until I thought: why not doing my own blog to inspire other people about my style? So I did it.

2- ¿Desde el inicio lo quisiste encaminar hacia el mundo de la moda? / Was doing a fashion blog your main purpose from the beginning?

Si, ya que desde hace muchos años la moda ha estado muy presente en mi vida y me pasaba horas curioseando sobre tendencias. Y además todos los blogs que visitaba eran de esa tematica.

Yes, because fashion has been quite present in my life lately and I used to spend hours looking for new trends. Moreover, all the blogs I visited were related to fashion.

3- ¿Cuánto tiempo llevas con el blog? ¿Crees que ha cambiado tu estilo desde que empezaste? / How long have you been with your blog? Do you think your style has changed since you started it?

Pues ya llevo casi dos años y medio. No creo que sea que mi estilo haya cambiado, sino mas bien que se ha perfeccionado con el tiempo. De todas formas, cuando miro algunos de mis looks anteriores pienso OMG jajaja!

It's been 2 years and a half. I don't think my style has changed at all, I just think that it's got better over time. In any case, when I take a look at my previous posts I think to myself OMG hahaha!

4- ¿En qué te inspiras? / What does inspire you?

Un poco de todo, en blogs, en celebrities, en mis cantantes favoritas, modelos, etc.

A lot of things like blogs, celebrities, my favorite singers, models etc.

5- ¿Cómo definirías tu estilo? / How would you define your style?

Sinceramente nunca he sabido como definirlo, ¿como lo definirías tu? :)

6- ¿Qué consideras que es lo más importante en un blog de moda? / What do you think is the most important thing in a fashion blog?

7- ¿Tienes algún/a blogger que te inspire al hacer tus looks? / Do you have any blogger who inspires you when you choose your outfits?

Mi blogger favorita ha sido siempre Chiara Ferragni, del blog The blonde salad. Fue de las primeras que conoci, la sigo casi desde sus comienzos y siempre me atrajo la actitud que tiene esa chica para todo. No es que solo me llamen la atención sus looks, que me parecen siempre perfectos, sino que me inspiro en la actitud que demuestra a sus lectoras y a las ganas que le pone al blog.

My favorite blogger has been always Chiara Ferragni, from The Blonde Salad. She was one of the first I discovered, I've been following her since she started and her attitude has always attracted me. It's not only her outfits that look always perfect, it's also her passion towards her followers and the way she takes care of her blog that attracted my attention.

8- Cuéntanos un momento de tu vida que jamás olvidarás. / Tell us a moment of your life that you'll never forget.

Cuando llegué a mi casa de un viaje con mi chico y lo primero que vi cuando entre por la puerta fue un cachorrito que me cabia en la palma de mi mano. Mi padre nunca nos había dejado tener un perro en casa y cuando llegué y vi esa cosita tan bonita no me lo podía creer y lloré de la emoción!!

When I got home from a trip with my boyfriend and I saw a small puppy that fit in the palm of my hand. My father never allowed me to have pets at home so when I saw that little cute thing I started to cry a lot.

9- ¿Tus familiares y amigos apoyan el hecho de que seas blogger? / Do your relatives and friends support the fact of being a blogger?

Estoy muy contenta del apoyo que recibo por parte de mi familia. Mi madre se pasa el día compartiendo mis actualizaciones en Facebook y mi padre se lo cuenta a todo el mundo también jaja! Mi hermano también me apoya pero a su manera jaja, y mi chico esta todo el día al pie del cañón para todo lo que necesito. Así que no me puedo quejar!!

I'm very happy because of the big support I get from my family. My mother spends all day sharing my facebook updates and my father talks about it with everyone haha! My brother also supports me but in his own way haha, and my boyfriend is always there when I need a help. What more can I ask for?

10- ¿Cómo ves la figura de blogger, crees que ha evolucionado durante estos últimos años? / How do you see the figure of the blogger? Do you think it has changed during these last years?

Si, por supuesto. Ya las bloggers no nos quedamos simplemente en enseñar unas cuantas fotos día a día, sino que nos preocupamos por mejorar y crear diferentes secciones para así hacer el blog mas ameno y entretenido.

Yes, of course. Now we the bloggers not only care about showing some photos every day, we also try to improve some other aspects of our blogs to make them more entertaining, like for example creating new sections.

11- ¿Qué otra afición ocupa tus días/tu tiempo cuando no estás ocupada con el blog? / What other activities do you do when you aren't busy with your blog?

Leer, ir al cine, comer y ver la tele son mis aficiones favoritas jaja! Ultimamente salgo todos los días al parque a correr con mi perrito o me voy con mi chico a dar grandes paseos. Me relaja muchísimo. Todo esto tengo que compaginarlo por supuesto con mi carrera de periodismo.

Reading, going to the cinema, eating and watching the TV are my favorite activities haha! Now I'm getting used to run with my little dog or if not I go walking with my boyfriend because it relaxes me a lot. Appart from these activities, I also have to study hard for my journalism degree.

12- ¿Cuál es tu película favorita? ¿Y tú cantante o grupo favorito? / What is your favorite movie? Who is your favorite singer or band?

Me gustan muchas pelis, pero unas que me podría pasar días viéndolas es Harry Potter. Me lei todos los libros de pequeña y me gustaron muchísimo, y tengo la colección completa en dvd y me sigue encantado verlas. También me encantan los musicales como Los miserables, Mamma Mia, Chicago. Puff, es que te podría decir mil películas que me gustan, soy super cinéfila jajaja.

En cuanto a grupos musicales, pareceré una quinceañera pero tengo una ligera obsesión por One Direction. Y mi cantante favorita sin duda es Taylor Swift!

I love a lot of films, but I'm in love specially with Harry Potter. I read all the books when I was young and I really loved them, I also have the whole dvd collection and I still feel like watching them all the time. I also like musicals such as Les Miserables, Mamma Mia, Chicago.. I could tell you tons of movies because its really one of my passions haha. Talking about music bands, I could sound as a teenager but I have a light obsession about One Direction. And my favorite singer without any doubt is Taylor Swift.

13- ¿Cuál es tu principal objetivo con el blog? / What is your main objective with the blog?

Mi objetivo fue siempre el de poder inspirar a algunas personas como yo me inspiraba de otras bloggers. Con el tiempo mis objetivos han ido creciendo y me gustaría poder mejorar en todo lo que pueda y llegar a mas gente.

My objective has always been to inspire other readers as I used to do when I visited other bloggers. Over time, my objectives have been raising and I would like to improve whatever I can and try to reach even more people.

14- ¿Alguna vez te has planteado dejarlo? / Have you ever thought about deleting your blog?

No, nunca! Siempre he estado muy contenta con los resultados y tampoco me he creado unas expectativas muy altas. Además todo lo que me ha aportado han sido cosas buenas.

No, never! I have always been so glad with the results and I have never created high expectations. Everything that this blog has given me is good things.

15- ¿Qué es lo que más te molesta de mantener un blog? / What is the worst thing about having a blog?

Nada, disfruto muchísimo haciendo esto, tanto hacerme las fotos, subirlas al blog, hablar con mis lectoras por correo, etc.

Nothing, I really enjoy taking pictures, uploading them on the blog, talking with my readers by mail...

16- Dinos que es lo que más te gusta de ser blogger y alguna cosa curiosa que no sepamos de ti. / Tell us what's the best thing about being a blogger and something curious you could tell us about you.

Lo que mas me gusta de todo esto es a las personas que he conocido durante mi etapa blogger. He hecho muy buenas amigas, personas con las que comparto los mismos intereses y con las que puedo hablar de todo lo que nos pasa con los blog. Es genial!!

¿Algo que no sepáis de mi? Como dije antes, soy fan número uno del grupo One Direction, aunque a veces me da vergüenza reconocerlo porque la gente se rie de mi jajaja.

The best thing about my blog is the people I have met during my experience here. I have made a lot of friends, people I share interests with and people I can talk about our experiences on the blog. It's awesome!!!

Something about me? As I told you before, I'm a number one fan of One Direction, however, I find it embarassing to say it because people laughs at me hahaha.
